Our client is looking for 2 General Labourers to join their team for upcoming work on the Geraldton Port extensions.
 
The work involves:

• Manual labour
• Drilling and scabbling concrete under the berth
• Working from scaffold in the tidal zone and on top of the wharf deck
• Assisting with concrete pours

The successful applicants will need:

• Be physically fit
• Able to work well in a small team
• Be able to take direction
• Have a good attitude towards site safety
• Be comfortable working in a restricted area and on scaffold
• Have some general construction experience
• Be familiar with a range of hand and power tools
• Be prepared to work 10 hours a day 5 to 6 days a week 

Must have:

• White card
• Be able to pass regular D&A testing
• Able to obtain an MSIC card – (company to pay)
• Driver’s license (preferable)
• Be a resident of Western Australia (Geraldton preferable) 

Please note:
 
The Geraldton Port is a Smoke free workplace and as such smoking is only allowed in designated areas during scheduled breaks.
 
Work will commence around mid March and run for approximately 10 to 12 months.
