Assistant Centre Manager
Full Time position
Early Explorers Learning Centre, rated Exceeding under the NQS, has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Assistant Centre Manager to join our team. As the Assistant Centre Manager, you will partner with the Centre Manager to mentor, lead and inspire our team to achieve success. You will be required to support the Centre Manager in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care to our children and families. Being part of the leadership team requires you to drive quality improvement within the Centre.
Job Requirements:
Essential Criteria:
Demonstrated leadership skills with a passion for improvement
Experience in assisting with all aspects of the daily management and rostering of staff in accordance with all relevant legislation, sector guidelines and policies
Experiencing in ensuring all policies and regulatory requirements are embedded within the Centre
Experience effectively using Qikkids
Excellent attention to detail
Previous Assistant Centre Manager experience
Ability to assist with the overall management of the Centre in the Centre Manager's absence
Demonstrated passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care and play based learning
Must hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care
Current working knowledge of the NQF & EYLF
Current Working with Children Check
National Police Clearance
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a range of knowledgeable and experienced educators
Excellent communication and time management skills
Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training (or willingness to obtain before starting)
