Job Description:

As the Occupational Safety & Health Advisor you will be supporting and reporting to the City's Occupational Safety and Health Coordinator. The objective of this position is to assist in the implementation, ongoing maintenance and improvement of the City OSH system and practices, and to contribute to effective health and safety planning and performance.

The successful applicant will have substantial experience in the practical application of OS&H to a variety of workplaces, including the conduction of hazard inspections, audits, risk assessments, accident/incident investigations, tool box meetings, training and advising internal stakeholders.

A starting salary of $71,053 per annum or $35.9581 will be offered dependent on knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications.
