Job Description:

The Shire of Carnarvon has an opportunity for a suitably qualified, motivated and enthusiastic officer to join the Shire’s Parks and Gardens team. You will be part of the team who ensure the Councils parks, gardens and public spaces are maintained, are attractive, inviting and safe for users.

The position is being offered as an initial fixed term contract with the possibility of an extension to the contract or an offer for a permanent position.

If you have a passion for garden maintenance, enjoy working outdoors and have the necessary skills for this role, then we would like to hear from you.

A yearly cash component of $47,133 - $49,307 base salary per annum dependent on qualifications and experience (exclusive of allowances as per Shire of Carnarvon Policies), superannuation (up to 11.50%), a nine-day fortnight and five weeks’ annual leave is offered.
