Job Description:

Dunnings is a family owned company that operates a Fuel Distributorship within Western Australia. Our company also has a growing Retail network throughout the state.  We offer long-term security, excellent working conditions and accommodation if required.

Our Carnarvon Roadhouse operates 7 days per week and is located 125 Robinson Street, Morgan Town. 

We require a Store Manager who will be an integral part of the team, the hours are full time Monday to Friday, but you must have the ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays, weekends, early mornings and public holidays if required. 

Job Requirements:

About the role:

We require an experienced leader, who will be responsible for managing and leading a team, reputation and brand, ensuring efficient operation of the site while upholding the core values of safety, cleanliness, compliance and excellent quality customer service, ensuring our customers keep coming back.

Key Activities include:
  • Full accountability of your retail store, kitchen and fuelling areas, making sure it runs smoothly and efficiently.  Create an environment where safety, your team and the customer are the main priorities.
  • Responsible for supervising and performing the day to day activities of fuel, kitchen and convenience operations. Including all stock control tasks (cash handling, invoicing, ordering, stocktakes, financial reporting, merchandising, stock rotation, date checks, store standards).
  • Managing site environmental, safety and compliance within established systems.
  • Monitoring proposed workplace changes and consulting workers to ensure adverse effects on health and safety are identified and eliminated or controlled.
  • Respond promptly to any notification of a hazardous situation that could place individuals at risk.
  • Working within business requirements which may include weeknights and weekend hours coinciding with Site Trading hours.
  • Leadership Skills- You will need to keep your team motivated and support your Team Members by mentoring and having strong team principles.
  • Managing Team Member rosters, attendance, task instructions, recruitment and other duties as required. 
  • This is a hands-on role and successful applicant must be prepared to work along side the rest of team.
