About us

Joblink Midwest (Inc) are a non-profit charitable organisation (ABN 58326653840) which means our services to jobseekers are free and charges to employers are very competitively priced. We service the Midwest and Gascoyne regions of WA and are located in Geraldton and Carnarvon.

Joblink Midwest was established in 1988 and is headed up by Leon Norris and his dedicated team. The board of management comprises of representatives from local business, government and providers of education and training services which ensures a grass roots understanding of local needs is maintained.

The midwestjobseeker website provides a resource to assist both job-seekers to find employment and for employers to easily and cost effectively advertise job vacancies. Unlike other job sites, the focus is on our region and we also provide a range of employment related services to jobseekers and employers alike.

Jobseekers can either search for jobs without registering or if they choose to register for free they can upload their resume, receive job alerts and allow prospective employers to contact them.
Employers must be registered to display ads or contact job-seekers and registration is very quick and easy. Employers can also display their company logo and have their company featured.
The level of information displayed is entirely up to the employer and they have control of how they would like their vacancies applied for.

A little more about our services...

Mature Skilling Program (MSP) & Joblink Career Boost Funding -
Employment & Training assistance up to $350 is available for eligible clients and can be put towards gaining qualifications linked to their career plan. This service is funded by Joblink Midwest.
Work Experience Assistance - Free insurance cover and placement assistance for clients seeking unpaid but valuable work experience.
Ticket To Work - Assistance up to $200 for eligible clients who have been offered employment but are unable to self-fund resources required to commence, such as training, transport, protective clothing etc. This service is funded by Joblink Midwest.

Our Jobs and Skills Centre service is funded by the Department of Training and Workforce Development and is free to all West Australians.
We offer career guidance and planning, help preparing or updating your resume, application letters and  slection criteria, identifying training options and work opportunities.
Our qualified career development officers can work closely with you to develop a focussed action plan and discuss the best career options. All of our services adhere to our privacy policy and remain strictly confidential.

Transition to Work is a program funded by the Federal Government supporting unemployed 15-24 year old you to gain training and employment.
This succesful program operates from Margaret House, Bill Sewell Complex, 84 Chapman Rd Geraldton. Call 9932 6437
