Job Description:

An exciting opportunity to support our busy hotel and restaurant as guest services and reservations agent.

Often the first point of contact for our guests, your strong communication skills will shine through in this role by delivering service excellence from check in to check out and everywhere in between.

For approx. 30-35 hours per week and on a casual basis, the Guest Service Agent is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences with a focus on:

  • Providing exceptional guest experiences
  • Creating Reservations through RMS
  • Answering all incoming reservations calls promptly and professionally
  • Monitoring reservations incoming emails
  • Managing all online bookings from third party websites
  • Efficiently controlling hotel inventory
  • Administrative support to the front office and finance team
  • Assistance in restaurant and bar when required (Full restaurant shifts available for suitable candidate)

Job Requirements:

Skills and experience

Preferred experience in a hotel property, you must be passionate about service, inspirational and full of positive energy, experience with RMS is preferred but not a must.

  • Previous Hotel or similar Front Office experience 
  • RMS experience is highly regarded
  • Willing to develop and grow a career in hospitality
  • Flexible & willing to work all shifts – AM, PM, weekends and splits. Including Public holidays
  • Must be able to handle pressure and busy periods
  • Positive energy and a passion for delighting customers
